Meaning of minos shell

 

Minos in Greek mythology was the son of Zeus and Europa and was considered as the first king of Crete. The Minos shell then was a spiral seashell and if someone can thread it, he would then offer a reward which is impossible to do. Minos then became a judge in the underworld for the dead when he died.
